Responsibilities:

- Plan and Deliver Instruction
Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans that promote active learning and align with the school’s curriculum and academic goals.
- Classroom Management
Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly classroom environment that fosters positive student behavior and supports academic success.
- Assess and Monitor Student Progress
Evaluate student learning through formative and summative assessments; analyze data to inform instruction and provide targeted support.
- Differentiate Instruction
Modify teaching strategies and materials to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of all students, including those with IEPs, 504 plans, and English language learners.
- Build Positive Relationships
Foster strong relationships with students, families, colleagues, and administrators to support a collaborative and inclusive school community.
- Communicate Effectively
Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events through conferences, reports, and digital platforms.
- Professional Responsibilities
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities; adhere to school policies, procedures, and professional ethical standards.
- Create a Positive Learning Environment
Promote social-emotional learning and student well-being by modeling respect, empathy, and responsibility in the classroom.
- Technology Integration
Utilize technology tools to enhance instruction, engage students, and support learning and assessment.
- Collaborate with Colleagues
Work as part of a grade-level or subject team to plan lessons, analyze data, and implement best practices for student achievement.
- Flexible and Adaptive
Adjust to changes in schedules, programming, and fulfill other responsibilities assigned as they arise.
